A Song Of Two Halves - A Slow Build Up With A Rousing
Finish At the beginning of last season we released a Leicester
City song called 'Leicester City Dream' about the hopes
and dreams of the football club. With the World Cup almost
upon us we felt that these sentiments could also
|
apply to our National team so we reworked the lyrics and
applied a new upbeat melody. The result being 'Our England
World Cup Dream'. Written and composed by Fred Pollard,
Kingsley Harmer and David Buswell with vocals by City
People. City People being an umbrella for local vocalists
in the leicester area who we try to introduce for many
of our songs. James Nestor of the band 'Prestige' was
our guest vocalist on this occasion. Also on the same
CD is a reflective little ditty entitled 'Dad's Favorite
England Song' written by Fred Pollard and Eric Dryden
with vocals by David Buswell. We would be grateful if
you could find time to give it a spin. |
